How to Fight the Cowlick in your Bangs

  • While your hair is wet, start with the bangs section of your hair, especially at the root.
  • You want to pull all the hair straight forward over your cowlick. The weight of your hair will hold it down better.
  • Then, with your blowdryer, blowdry your hair straight down over the cowlick, even the opposite direction that your bangs lay.
  • Once the root is dry, the hard part is over, and you can either use a round brush to bump your ends under, or just blowdry your ends if you don’t need any extra smoothing.
  • If you sweep your bangs, simply sweep them to the side and spray with Paul Mitchell Extra Body Finishing Spray to hold them over.


* Remember, it is all about the root of your hair!
