How to Get Perfect Lashes!

The number of different variates of mascara available can be overwhelming. Volumizing, lengthening, thickening, separating, waterproof, and some even promising to increase your own lash growth. While each one offers a different brush, formula, and celebrity endorsement, the application is just as important as the product itself. Here's some tips of how to get the lash look you want to achieve.

Start out with a clean brush. Over-saturated bristles will put too much product on the lashes and make them hard to work with.

Put the wand at the base of your lashes and work slowly toward the ends. The first coat is about separating your lashes, to make every single one stand out.

Working slowly, using the weight of your eyelid will build a good base of product, and help lift and curl the ends to make your eyes look more open.

Let each coat dry two minutes before applying another. Doing this will allow you to build volume, and add length onto the previous coat.

Apply at least two coats. With each coat, some of your lashes will stick together. Another coat will gently break up clumps and define your lashes. Adding more coats will create a more dramatic look.

Layer until you reach your desired effect.
